Lumberjack 100
The Lumberjack 100 has been raced!!! It was a tough race but many of really cool people and pros showed up and raced. Fuzzy was cool enough to give me a few Niner Bike water bottles. I really could have used them if I had lasted longer than 25 miles. The course was tough with lots of climbs and even a flooded section!
New Bike Build
Last year I built a Surly Karate Monkey and it was a tank compared to my Niner Bikes One9. That means another pre-spring bike built and the fine people at Speedgoat hooked me up with a Niner Bike Air9 in the very cool Kermit Green color. The frame is on my stand and the remaining parts are on the way to complete the build. I will be putting together a page that will walk through the entire build from start to finish so please check back often over the next few weeks. This bike is going to be tricked out with a nice Fox 32 F29 RLC fork and the top of the line Mavic C29ssmax ST Disc 29er Wheelset.

Both PricePoint and JensonUSA have this wheelset in stock right now, but once spring gets here I bet they will be difficult to keep on the shevles. Check out the link below for more info on this A+ whellset! Brakes for this new build are still an area I haven't given too much thought. I have a set of Avid Juicy 7s that I could use, but I'll really thinking about trying some Hayes.
